Chocolate Mug Cake

A warm, gooey chocolate cake made in a mug in the microwave. Dessert emergency solved.

Ingredients (5)

  • ✦ 4 tbsp flour
  • ✦ 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ✦ 2 tbsp sugar
  • ✦ 3 tbsp milk
  • ✦ 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Let's cook

  1. 1Whisk everything together right in a big microwave-safe mug.
  2. 2Microwave 60–90 seconds until the top looks just set — don't overdo it!
  3. 3Rest 1 minute (it's lava-hot), then dig in. Ice cream on top is highly encouraged.
